Carers Together Wiltshire has been commissioned by Wiltshire Council and the ICB to support all unpaid Carers in Wiltshire.

We understand you are an unpaid Carer who might benefit from some support and are waiting to talk with a member of our team. We want to make sure you are safe and waiting well. Below is some useful information that might help you whilst you wait for support.

Carers Together Wiltshire holds many local, in-person Carer groups across Wiltshire, including for specialist groups such as Parent Carers. Our groups offer a chance for unpaid Carers to chat, relax and catch-up – it’s all about connecting, having fun and looking after your mental well-being! You can find all our local groups in the Events section of our website.

Carer Friendly Wiltshire has several online Carer Cafes and Support groups listed in the ‘What’s online’ section of their website. You can also apply for a Carers ID card there, which provides verified identification, acknowledges your caring role, and gives access to various benefits, offers, and services.

You can find local Carers events and activities by searching the Wiltshire Together directory using keywords like “Carers” or “Carers Support.”

Age UK offers guides and factsheets that, while targeted at supporting older people in later life, often contain relevant information for everyone. Topics include:

• Caring for someone with Dementia
• Power of attorney
• Getting help at home
• Advice for Carers
• Your hospital stay
