DESCRIPTION:We are warmly inviting unpaid Carers to experience a peaceful day out amidst nature. Step away from your routine\, breathe in the woodland air\, and enjoy a relaxing day with activities designed to refresh and restore. \nActivities include: \n\nA wildlife walk through the forest\nPond dipping (with a net\, not swimming!)\nWillow weaving crafts\nA mindfulness session\n\nThis day is all about you; taking a break\, meeting people\, and trying something new. \nGetting There \nWe will be offering free minibus pick-ups from three locations: \n\nSalisbury Rugby Club – SP1 3SA\nSalisbury Train Station – SP2 7RL\nBrown Street Car Park (West) – SP1 1HE\n\nCarers are also welcome to make their own way to Hazel Hill\, where free on-site parking is available. \nWhat to Bring \nPlease bring a packed lunch for the day – we’ll provide drinks and sweet treats! \nDress appropriately for the weather in durable clothing and sturdy footwear. The venue recommends wearing long trousers or leggings tucked into socks to protect against ticks. Check the forecast beforehand\, as we plan to spend most of the day outdoors. \nAccessibility \nThis event takes place in a woodland location with natural paths and uneven ground\, which may not be suitable for everyone.
